WB Directorate of Security Driver Final Result 2026 has been officially released by the Directorate of Security, Government of West Bengal. The department has published the final list of 30 selected candidates for the post of Driver on a contractual basis. Candidates who participated in the driving test and interview can now check the final selection list released on 6 March 2026.

The recruitment was conducted under Employment Notice No. 214/HQ/DOS dated 17 February 2026. Selected candidates will be appointed for a three-month contractual period at the Directorate of Security office in Alipore, Kolkata.

Joining Date and Reporting Details

Selected candidates must report for joining according to the following schedule:

Candidates who fail to report on the scheduled date may have their position filled from the reserve list.

Documents Required at Joining

Selected candidates must bring the following original documents along with two photocopies:

Valid Driving License
Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Educational Qualification Certificates
Two Passport Size Photographs
Bank Account Details (Passbook or Cancelled Cheque)
PCC Application Copy (Police Clearance Certificate)

All documents will be verified during the joining process.

Medical Examination and Contract Details

All selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness examination at Kolkata Police Hospital. If a candidate is found medically unfit, the candidature will be cancelled.

The appointment is purely contractual for three months starting from 9 March 2026. The selected drivers will receive a monthly consolidated remuneration of ₹12,569, and applicable professional tax will be deducted as per government rules.

Candidates are also required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). If the police verification report is adverse, the appointment may be terminated.
