Indian Oil Haldia Refinery Apprentice 2026 notification has been released for 121 apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Haldia Refinery, is inviting online applications from eligible candidates through the NAPS/NATS portal. Selection will be done on a merit basis, and there will be no written examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD in reserved seats)
  • Qualification must be regular full-time
  • No distance or part-time course accepted
  • Higher qualifications like B.Tech/MBA/CA are not eligible
  • Candidates must have completed qualification within the last 5 years
  • No 1 year or more job experience after qualification

Selection Process – No Written Exam

The selection under Indian Oil Haldia Refinery Apprentice 2026 will be purely based on:

  • Percentage of marks in qualifying examination
  • Merit list prepared in descending order
  • In case of tie:
    1. Older candidate preferred
    2. Higher Class 10 marks considered

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

Medical Fitness Standards

Candidates must meet the medical standards under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Important Medical Conditions

  • Minimum height: 137 cm
  • Blood Pressure: Not above 140/85
  • Good vision and hearing
  • No serious heart, lung, or neurological disease
  • Free from tuberculosis and communicable diseases

Final engagement depends on medical fitness certification.

How to Apply Online

The application process has two compulsory steps:

Step 1: Register on Portal

  • For Codes 101 & 103 → Apply through NAPS Portal
  • For Codes 104, 105 & 107 → Apply through NATS Portal

Candidates must complete registration and apply for the specific trade.

Step 2: Submit Additional Details

After portal registration, candidates must fill out the required Microsoft/Google Form available on IOCL’s website.

⚠ Both steps are mandatory. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
